The Metropolitan Police Force, in common with many other police authorities operate a scheme called ‘Bikesafe’. This is a ride assessment with a police motorcyclist, designed to discover any shortfalls in the rider’s abilities. Following the assessment the officer will often advise the need for further training and recommend the DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme. Our instructors are DVSA qualified to deliver ERS assessment and training, and are on the DVSA register of post-test motorcycle trainers.
These courses are aimed at the following and are normally run on a one to one basis:
• HAVE JUST PASSED THEIR TEST
• ARE RETURNING TO RIDING AFTER A BREAK
• ARE UPGRADING TO A BIGGER BIKE
• WANT TO BRING THEIR SKILLS UP TO DATE
